ABOUT THE BAND:

The Bulemics formed in a drunken haze in Austin, Texas in early 1996. Although many lineup changes have occurred over the years, their attitude has remained the same; have fun while you can at any cost, because you never know when it'll all be over. Built on a foundation of tight and brutal punk rock, with a penchant for filthy subject matter, The Bulemics have earned their bad reputation through plenty of blood, sweat and other bodily fluids; when they bring it all to the stage, a good time is guaranteed. After a few full-length releases with high profile indie labels like Man's Ruin & Junk, the Bulemics found their way to Mr & Mrs Steel Cage via the Widowmaker for the release of their fourth CD, Soundtrack To The Apocalypse. To quote the band, "We will not rest until our photos are plastered to the wall of every teenage girl in the free world." We are more than happy to do what we can to aid them in their quest.

REVIEWS:

The Bulemics are keeping music evil with a sound that's all about punk rock. With a sick and twisted, snotty as suicide sound, these Texas bad boys kick out a sonic punk disorder; fans of the Dead Boys, Dwarves, GG Allin, ANTiSEEN & Verbal Abuse will love these guys' bad ass sound. They mix old school punk with hints of rock & roll that's fast action all the way. These guys are all about girls, guns, guitars; the CD features such songs as "Still Talkin' Shit," "Hatefuck," "Goddess of Wet Dreams" and more including a cover of Sick Pleasure's "3 Seconds of Pleasure". The CD also contains two bonus tracks including "You're Gonna Die" and one more that both feature Jeff Clayton of ANTiSEEN on vocals. Pure evil punk rock & roll, 666 style.

Lewd, crude and rude. Heatstroke-inducing punk'n'roll from this Texas band. It seems like all their songs are about fucking or getting to the act - music in the vein od old school Dead Boys with the nastiness of the Dwarves. Reminds me of a good night at a club with one too many bers and a rocknig good time.

Chaotic punk rockers, the Bulemics, put the fun back into dysfunctional on this Texas group's latest offering. With a furious stomp and an attitude hellbent on having fun, this quintet go from zero to sixty in record time and fon't look back to see the trail of destruction that it leaves behind. With songs whose topics range from sex ("3 Seconds Of Pleasure") to killing ("Crime Spree") and back to sex again ("Diary Of A Whore"), it's no wonder the Bulemics aren't exactly parentally friendly. No matter, because the kids are gonna find out one day what it's all about, and when they do, they'll have the punk rock fury of the Bulemics to thank.
